How We Work Together
Coaching at Discover Wellness is a structured, reflective process designed to help you better understand yourself and move forward with greater clarity.
The Nature of the Work
This work is collaborative, client-centered, and grounded in professional coaching standards.
Rather than focusing on fixing problems or prescribing solutions, coaching creates space to notice what is happening, understand it more clearly, and integrate change in a way that fits your actual life.
How Sessions Work
Sessions are structured conversations where we explore your experiences, patterns, and decisions in a way that builds awareness and clarity.
There is no expectation to arrive with a clear goal or perform in any way. We begin with what is present and build from there.
We move at the pace of your readiness. Some areas may feel ready for change, while others may benefit from more time and understanding. Both are respected.
Discovery Session:
The First Step
All coaching relationships begin with a Discovery Session.
This is a free 45–60 minute conversation to explore fit, clarify expectations, and determine whether ongoing work would feel supportive.
There is no obligation to continue.
You are welcome to ask questions, share what feels present, or simply get a feel for the space. Many people leave with more clarity, whether or not they choose to continue.
If continuing feels appropriate, we can talk through session options and next steps.
What Sessions Look Like
Sessions are structured conversations guided by professional coaching competencies and a clear process, while remaining flexible to what is most relevant to you.
We may explore:
Patterns in stress, energy, or decision-making
How you respond to different demands in your life
What feels aligned versus what feels forced
Where something may need attention, or where something is already working
There is no expectation to perform, solve everything, or arrive with a clear goal.
We begin with what is present and build from there.
Individual Wellness Coaching
One-on-one coaching provides a private space to explore stress patterns, habits, decision-making, boundaries, rest, and overall sense of alignment.
Sessions are conversational and reflective, guided by professional coaching competencies and ethical scope standards. We identify patterns, clarify what feels meaningful, and allow insight to develop into small, realistic actions that fit your schedule and responsibilities.
Clients often describe:
Clearer thinking and decision-making
A stronger sense of internal alignment
Reduced reactivity under stress
More confidence in how they move through daily life
Outcomes are not forced or prescribed. They develop through consistent awareness and reflection over time.
You do not need clearly defined goals to begin. Some people arrive with stress, fatigue, or a sense that something feels off. Others are not dealing with a specific problem, but want to better understand themselves, their strengths, or what feels meaningful in their current season of life.
We begin with what is present, without assuming anything needs to be fixed.

Ongoing Coaching Support
Sustainable change is typically built through consistent conversation over time. Ongoing coaching offers continuity, thoughtful accountability, and steady integration across weeks or months.
Rhythm and duration are flexible. Some clients meet weekly for a period of time; others meet biweekly or intermittently.
We revisit what feels aligned as life shifts.
Over time, clients often develop greater steadiness in how they relate to stress, decisions, and daily demands.
What This Is and Is Not
This is:
A structured, confidential partnership
A steady place for reflection and clarity
Flexible and shaped around your context
This work is a good fit for individuals who are willing to slow down, reflect honestly, and engage thoughtfully in their own process.
This work is not designed for:
Crisis support or urgent intervention
Medical or clinical treatment
Rigid plans, strict accountability, or externally driven motivation
This is not medical care, therapy, or a prescriptive program.
If those are needed, appropriate referrals can be discussed.
Pricing and Logistics
Pricing details are shared on the one-on-one wellness coaching page.
You can engage in this work in a way that fits your current needs and level of commitment:
Single Session — for immediate clarity or exploration
Steady Rhythm — for short-term focus and pattern recognition lasting four sessions
Extended Continuity — for deeper, ongoing integration lasting 12 sessions
Many people begin with a single session or Discovery Session and decide from there.
Scheduling, rhythm, and fit are discussed during the Discovery Session so you can choose what level of support feels appropriate.
There is no expectation to continue beyond the first conversation.
Frequently Asked Questions
What Is Wellness Coaching?
1
A collaborative, client-centered process grounded in awareness, reflection, and sustainable behavior change.
Why Work With a Coach?
2
To create structured space for reflection, clarify priorities, and move forward in ways that feel steady rather than reactive. Many thoughtful adults seek coaching to create greater alignment between their values, choices, and daily life.
How Is Coaching Different From Therapy?
3
Therapy often focuses on healing past experiences or treating mental health conditions. Coaching focuses on present patterns, decision making, and forward movement. Coaching does not replace therapy.
Is This a Replacement for Medical Care?
4
No. Coaching does not diagnose or treat illness and is not a substitute for medical or psychological care.
What If I’m Not Sure What I Need?
5
You do not need a fully formed plan. Many clients begin with a quiet sense that something feels slightly off beneath an otherwise competent exterior. Clarity develops through thoughtful conversation, not pressure.
Taking the Next Step
If this feels aligned, the next step is a Discovery Session or a simple first message.
There is no pressure to commit beyond that conversation.
Wellness isn’t something you build.
It’s something you discover.
A simple, low-pressure place to begin.
